Energo: Slovenia, Hungary and Serbia seal energy partnership deal
Slovenia, Hungary and Serbia have sealed a partnership deal on April 9 in Budapest, known as BlueSky project, aimed at bolstering cooperation in the energy sector.
The agreement marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the three countries’ electricity markets and is expected to revolutionise regional electricity trading, the project promises enhanced market integration, greater energy security and a boost to economic advancement.
According to Slovenian Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy, by consolidating local markets and facilitating access to a unified trading and clearing system in Slovenia, Serbia and Hungary, the project aims to fortify the single European market and accelerate the transition to cleaner energy sources.
