FSUOGM: Nostrum raises reserves fivefold at Kazakh field

Kazakhstan-focused junior producer Nostrum Oil & Gas has increased its reserves fivefold at the Stepnoy Leopard fields following an independent third-party evaluation by Xodus Group, the company reported on July 17.

Nostrum, whose main asset is the Chinarevskoye field in  West Kazakhstan, took a final investment decision (FID) on initial development of the Stepnoy Leopard fields in April. In a statement this week the company said the result of the competent person’s report (CPR) at the deposits supported the commercial viability of a scalable full-field development targeting key reserves, beginning with the Eastern fields and later the Western fields.
