ASIAELEC: Indonesia confirms plans for 41 GW of new capacity by 2030

Indonesia is aiming to build 41 GW of new generating capacity by 2030, of which 52% will be fossil fuel-based and 48% renewables.

Rida Mulyana, general director for electricity at the Ministry for Energy and Mineral Resources, said that the government in 2021 aims to open 8,915 MW of capacity.
