AsiaElec: Offshore and on, China leads the world on planned clean power installations

A key boosting station in China’s first large-scale, offshore solar project has reached a landmark stage of construction, signalling the operational readiness of the project. The CGN Yantai Zhaoyuan 400-MW floating solar facility in Laizhou Bay, off Zhaoyuan south-east of Beijing, covers 6.44 square km, and is made up of 121 PV sub-arrays.
