ASIAELEC: Suzlon seals 252-MW turbine order with CLP India

Suzlon has announced a 252-MW order from CLP India to supply 120 of its S120-140m turbines.

The project in Sidhpur, Gujarat State, is expected to be commissioned in 2022 and represents a major boost for the financially troubled company.

Suzlon will install 120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower.

It is Suzlon’s first major order since the 2020 restructuring of its $1.5bn debt.
