AsiaElec: Taiwan continues LNG expansion as government displays sensitivity on gas reserve questions

Taiwan Power and CPC Taiwan, the state-owned petroleum, natural gas and gasoline company, have linked natural gas pipelines between the expansive Datan LNG-fuelled power plant and the island’s third LNG receiving terminal, Guantang in Taoyuan on the north-west coast.
