EurOil: BlueNord suspends output guidance at Denmark's Tyra field
Newsbase 9 September 2024
Norway's BlueNord has once more suspended its output guidance to reflect slower-than-expected production growth at Denmark’s Tyra gas field, which has undergone substantial renovation, the company reported on August 30.
Operator TotalEnergies restarted gas production at Tyra in March, after substantial upgrades lasting four and a half years. But in May the French major said there were technical problems with a power transformer that required repairs. The transformer has been fixed, but production is still expected to rise at a slower rate than BlueNord had forecast on July 10.
