FSUOGM: Russian gas flow via TurkStream slumps to year-low

Russian gas exports to the EU via the TurkStream pipeline slumped to their lowest level in a year in May, amounting to only 774.6mn cubic metres, or less than 25 mcm per day, Vedomosti reported last week citing data from the  European Network of Gas Transportation System Operators (ENTSOG).

The volume of gas sent via the pipeline last month was 15% lower than in the corresponding month of last year and 30% less than in April. It marks the lowest amount delivered since June last year, when a mere 664.5 mcm of gas, or 21.5 mcm per day, was dispatched, and in that month the pipeline went offline for a week for routine maintenance. In April this year, deliveries via TurkStream were at their highest level since the start of the year, averaging 36.8 mcm per day.
