LatAmOil: BP Trinidad and Tobago enters an agreement to divest gas fields to Perenco T&T

BP Trinidad and Tobago (BPTT) announced that it has finalised an agreement to sell its stakes in several offshore gas fields to Perenco T&T. The sale includes the Immortelle, Flamboyant, Amherstia, and Cashima fields, as well as the related production infrastructure. Additionally, the transaction covers undeveloped resources in the Parang field.

BPTT has been the sole operator and owner of these mature fields, which have been in production since as early as 1993 and currently produce around 30,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Despite this divestment, BPTT will continue to purchase gas from these fields to meet its ongoing contractual obligations.
