Bangladesh okays private oil imports, marketing

More South Korean firms join Malaysian CCS project

Shell Gas & Power, Hanwha, Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC) and Air Liquide Korea have recently signed on to a project created a year ago with an MoU signed by six South Korea firms and Petronas agreeing to pursue conceptual and feasibility studies.

Crude oil imports into Asia rose to a record high of 27.92mn bpd during July, according to data compiled by Refinitiv Oil Research. The huge volume is attributed to purchases made by the region’s big buyers, China and India, of Russian crude.
