DMEA: Glencrown organising risk assessment conference to curb oil theft in Nigeria

Glencrown Training and Consulting Services Ltd. (GCTCSL) aims to organise an oil and gas security, risk assessment, investigation and reporting conference to address the challenges of oil theft in Nigeria’s downstream sector. This comes following the commissioning of Nigeria’s Dangote Refinery and the recent revival of Port Harcourt.

Lekan Lajide, the managing consultant of the company said on September 9 in Kaduna that the event – taking place at the TCC Ogere Resort and Conference Centre, Lagos – was “timely” when considering the issues the Nigerian oil and gas sector had been facing. He added that the conference would aid the Nigerian government’s decision-making process when it came to tackling the prominent issue facing the country’s authorities.

Lajide, who is expected to act as a resource person during the conference – scheduled from March 18-20, 2024 – mentioned that the consulting firm with: “broad capabilities in the oil and gas sector assured all participants of a thought-provoking session during the conference.”

He continued: “GCTCSL is led by seasoned professionals with proven technical and diverse expertise in traditional and emerging technologies, markets, and agenda-setting issues driving national and global economies.”
