DMEA: NNPCL signs agreement for deployment of FLNG facility

The Nigerian National Petroleum Co. Ltd (NNPCL) and Bermuda-based Golar LNG have signed a project development agreement (PDA) for the deployment of a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility in Nigeria.

According to an NNPCL statement the project’s monetisation plan would utilise “approximately 400-500mn standard cubic feet [11.32-14.16mn cubic metres] per day and produce LNG, LPG [liquefied petroleum gas] and condensate”.
