MEOG: Saudi Aramco agrees LNG supply deal with Sempra

Saudi Arabian oil major Saudi Aramco has signed a 20-year non-binding LNG supply agreement with US-based energy company Sempra that will see the American company exporting 5mn tonnes per year (tpy) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Port Arthur LNG Phase two expansion project in south-east Texas.

According to the two companies the deal takes into account Aramco’s 25% involvement in the project-level equity of Port Arthur’s second phase.
