China’s LNG imports forecast to rebound after plunging 20% in 2022

China’s liquefied natural gas imports are projected to recover in 2023 to between 70mn and 72mn tonnes, marking a 9% to 14% rise from 2022.

Brunei LNG reaches deal with Japan Petroleum Exploration

Brunei LNG has announced it will begin supplying liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. beginning in April. The amount supplied and length of the contract have not yet been revealed.

Gazprom’s Sakhalin 2 LNG project forecast to double revenue in 2023

State-run Russian energy giant Gazprom could see revenue double this year from its Sakhalin 2 liquefied natural gas project as a result of higher prices and long-term deals with Asian buyers.
