Egypt’s Al-Suwaidi Electric and Qatar’s Urbacon Trading and Contracting signed a deal worth €1.19bn to construct 1,044-MW gas-fired power plant in Libya’s Zliten region. The contract was signed with the Libyan General Electricity Co. (GECOL).
